Here is a charming thing: American Hustle was released in French-speaking countries with the title American Bluff. Here is another: Bradley Cooper speaks excellent French, as you may know, and likes to trot out this skill on appropriate occasions. Lucky for us, a camera was present for his latest Francophone moment, and the result is just a little bit disarming.
We don't think the content of what he is saying is quite as relevant as the smooth loveliness of his accent or the simple fact that anyone speaking French is automatically sexy. But, for the record: In the below video, he starts off absolutely gushing about David O. Russell, calling him "almost a best friend" (okay, that sounds better in French). And, he's humble to boot. When asked if he thought he could end up with an Oscar for his role, he insisted that you never know. He also touches briefly on his many "extraordinary" hairstyles during the film and the sense of camaraderie on set. Finally, one more charming thing: He ends the interview by saying "cool" in the most adorably French way. Quel beau bonhomme, n'est-ce pas?
