The First Trailer For The Amanda Knox Movie Is Here — Let’s Discuss

We first got word of Cara Delevingne's silver screen debut last October, and now it's seeming more real than ever. Today, Variety released a teaser for Michael Winterbottom’s upcoming film, The Face of an Angel, a thriller loosely based on the Amanda Knox saga. The movie stars Kate Beckinsale, Daniel Brühl, Dutch newcomer Genevieve Gaunt, and, yes, Ms. Delevingne. Unfortunately, there's no sign of the bold-browed supermodel in this 30-second preview, but regardless, our curiosity is piqued.

The film is based on the book Angel Face: Sex, Murder and the Inside Story of Amanda Knox, but revolves around the story of a fictitious journalist entangled in media mayhem surrounding the case.
And, for those who have been following the recent developments of Knox's retrial, we're told that the plot of the film focuses solely on the period surrounding the initial murder trial.

Side note: If you're wondering why Gaunt (who plays Knox) looks familiar, it's because she was none other than Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Check out the mini-trailer below and let us know if you're intrigued or would rather skip this one. (Variety)
