Not all beauty DIY videos are created equal. Some are too long, some don’t offer enough information, and some are pretty much perfect (you’ve seen our double dare videos, right?) But, when we’re not marveling at our own creations, we look to beauty guru Lisa Eldridge for advice.
The London-based makeup artist has honed her skills over the past two decades creating looks for countless Vogue covers and runway shows. Needless to say, she knows her stuff and readily shares it in tutorial videos that are head and shoulders above anything else on the web. Practical, easy to follow, and above all beautiful, these master classes are simply amazing. No wonder there are over 750,000 subscribers to Eldridge's YouTube channel.
In the latest video she’s joined by model and writer Sophie Dahl, and Eldridge shows us how to look fresh-faced when we feel anything but. The film is filled with easy-win application tips (don’t overdo it with the under-eye concealer) and interesting product suggestions. It’s a mix of drugstore finds, hidden gems from around the world, and luxury buys that are worth the hefty price tag. Watch the video and just try to stop yourself from buying everything Eldridge uses!
