Cameron Diaz Designed These Shoes For You…

These days, Cameron Diaz has quite the résumé. She's an actor, of course, but she also just released her own book and tackled the job of artistic director for Pour La Victoire. We're used to seeing celebrities tack their names onto lines or churn out their own designs, but this was something entirely different.
Diaz signed onto the shoe brand to help oversee a new direction for the company, doing everything from collaborating on the newest collection to helping create the ad campaign. It didn't come easily, of course — Cam put in many a late night at the PLV office after full-day shoots on the Annie set. And now, the time for the big reveal has finally come. Pour La Victoire gave Women's Wear Daily the first look at Diaz's first collection, which boasts luxe leather, classic suede, and an abundance of neutrals.
Shades of the actress' style are seen in the collection, but Diaz wants to be clear that this isn't a line for her — it's for all of us. "I don’t want girls to aspire to be me," she told WWD. "That’s not what this brand is about. It’s not about wearing a shoe I would wear. I want them to see themselves in this shoe." Head over to WWD for the full interview and to see even more of Cameron's kicks. (WWD)
