She may be a Hollywood rookie, but it's safe to say that Lupita Nyong'o is quickly becoming an industry darling. Yes, she has amazing acting chops and stunning red-carpet style, but did you know she kills it with her Spanish skills, too? Yep, it's official — the more we learn about the 12 Years a Slave actress, the more we like her.
Nyong'o recently did an interview with CNN Mexico entirely in (flawless) Spanish. If you need to brush up on your español, here's the gist of the clip. The actress, who was born in Mexico but raised in Kenya, talks about returning to Mexico as a teenager to learn Spanish and everything she loves about the country — carne asada tacos included. She also talks about Cate Blanchett, Oprah, and being nominated for an Oscar. Head over to Oh No They Didn't to catch the full interview, and try not to love her.
