Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer Is Breathtaking, To Say The Least

We have to admit — we were slightly skeptical about all these Spider-Man reboots. We love the superhero and all, but we were worried it might be a little overkill. Well, we're officially eating our words. A new extended trailer for Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released in honor of Super Bowl Sunday, and it is awesome. Andrew Garfield is back as Peter Parker, Emma Stone reprises Gwen Stacy, and Jamie Foxx takes on the terrifying villain Electro.
No expense was spared in the stunt department, and the story line seems to be a bit darker, as well — in a good way. Plus, we love seeing the real-life spark between Garfield and Stone come alive on the big screen. The flick hits theaters May 2, and if there was ever a time to splurge on the iMax, this is it. Watch all the high-flying antics in the sneak peek below, and we'll see you at the theater — just don't forget your Spidey sense.
