Instead, the pint-sized pop star got her own piece of the Grammys pie by looking like a total knockout at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons last night. A freshly tinted platinum pixie — a refreshingly soft and seriously pretty beauty look — and a head-to-toe Calvin Klein Collection ensemble in baby pink (capped off with a Chanel bag) all screamed "winning" to us. Dare we say she looks downright angelic? That pink lipstick is beyond.
Though the fur-clad singer wasn't up for looking the part of a woman scorned (by the Grammy committee), she did sing it. Along with "Wrecking Ball" and "Get It Right," Cyrus performed a cover of godmother Dolly Parton's get-yer-hands-off-my-man classic, "Jolene." Obviously, there's no touching the original, but it's nice to see that Billy Ray's little girl can still, in her words, "country it out." Watch below and see for yourself. Does she do herself justice?
