Emma Roberts Goes Sleek & Short

Lest you thought that the bob's moment was officially over due to Pixie Madness, Emma Roberts is here to prove that the classic, sleek, below-the-jaw version of the style is still one of the most flattering 'dos out there. The star debuted her new chop at the Elle Women In Television Dinner, and we think that it might be the star's best 'do yet. This cut shows off her delicate features perfectly, unlike her long locks which seemed to weigh down her look a bit (in our humble opinion).

While the pixie cut has been reigning supreme in Hollywood lately, it seems that celebs still have a fascination with the good ol' bob. (We're thinking of Cate Blanchett and Amy Adam's iterations of the faux bob at recent awards shows). Whether worn wavy, messy, or pin-straight like Roberts', there's something about a bob that manages to convey sophistication, playfulness, and glamour all at the same time. Not bad for a classic haircut, right?
