Photo: Courtesy of Warner Bros.Veronica Mars fans, rejoice! Not only is Kristen Bell gracing the silver screen this March, but she's taking her crime fighting back to the small screen.
Rob Thomas, the show's creator, is in early talks with the CW for a digital spinoff series. The network's president said Thomas is "very excited about it" and will begin further developing the concept after the movie. Nothing else is known aside from the fact that it is happening and Thomas has ideas of who he's going to bring back.
Based on an interview with TV Line, Bell will be one of them — obviously. "Veronica will survive the movie," Thomas said. "I can't promise anyone else does though. But, there will be an opportunity for Veronica to do her thing again."
Excuse us while we quietly fangirl to ourselves. The prospect of waiting for two Veronica Mars unveils is almost too much to handle. But, we are strong in our patience and will hold out. In the name of Logan and Veronica, we will hold out. (Deadline)
