In a world where we're considering making an Excel spreadsheet to track everyone's hair situations, Jennifer Hudson's pixie hasn't been getting nearly the attention it deserves. She made sure to change that at last night's People's Choice Awards though. It's hard to style a pixie for the red carpet, since neither mermaid waves nor fishtail braids are an option. This was apparently not an issue for Hudson, who wore her 'do in a piece-y voluminous style that kept her fringe out of her face without having to slick it down. It's like a faux-hawk for grownups, and was the perfect way to infuse some glam into her short crop.
Also? That makeup is really working for her. A golden-brown smoky eye with a strawberry lip stain is such a good idea. It's everything we love about winter beauty paired with a burst of hope for warmer weather. Consider us impressed.
