As fans of Girls, we've been waiting with baited breath for the HBO premiere. But, let's talk about something else for a minute — say, Allison Williams' emergence as a red-carpet rock star last night at the People's Choice Awards. Take a good look at this one, because if this is any indication of her red-carpet season, Williams is about to serve it up.
Williams' typically demure style and fresh-faced makeup was replaced with heavy side-swept bangs, a messy rock-star ponytail, super-hot smoky eyes, and tons of lashes. We love the pretty pink lip that balanced the look, and we love that she's giving us face. Basically, we're into the whole edgier thing, Williams.
With this red-carpet season kick off, we're psyched for a change of pace from the safe-and-pretty trends of recent years to stars taking risks. Hopefully, other actresses will follow suit. Werk it, ladies.
