Sometimes, getting the best eye-makeup look can be baffling. Shadow for the crease disappears the minute you open your eyes. Smoky eyes suddenly look like a five-alarm meltdown... How did putting on makeup get so complicated? Well, maybe it's not about your skills. Maybe it's actually about the shape of your eye.
The Telegraph recently spotted a new campaign from Smashbox that says just that. Much in the way your body shape matters for how your clothes fit, the shape of your eye best determines which type of eye-makeup application will take you from basic to babe. The pros at Smashbox did the leg work and came up with six separate eye shapes and tutorials on how to get your best look to utilize their new Full Exposure Palette. The video above, featuring Smashbox global lead artist Lori Taylor Davis, shows you how to determine your eye shape, then walks you through how to apply the respective best makeup.
