Inside Target’s Red-Hot Offices

We're not exaggerating one bit when we say that Target is our happy place. For those of us lucky enough to have that red bull's-eye nearby, the mass retailer is a one-stop shop for aisles and aisles of eye candy, surprising finds, well-made merch, and — surprise! — price points that make impulse shopping totally dangerous. After all, can you think of the last time you left a Target empty-handed? Exactly.
Basically inventing the designer collaboration with Isaac Mizrahi way back in 2002 (to 3.1 Phillip Lim just last year), Target's always been on the cutting edge when it comes to repackaging our favorite indie and luxury designers in wallet-friendlier ways. And, it doesn't just end with the fashion departments. Take a stroll through its beauty counters and home-decor aisles (hey, Nate Berkus!), and you'll get that same giddy head rush.
Of course, to create an experience so fun, you need a team that knows what's up, and we crashed Target headquarters in Minneapolis to see the masters at work. Ahead, we get a glimpse at the work lives of five of Target's own, including the leading lady in charge of women's apparel and the design maestro behind the retailer's home lines, and take a peek at the retailer's super-fetching office space. Right on, Target.
