Our plastic saw a lot of action in 2013. And, we mean a lot. It seems our favorite designers were working overtime this year, churning out must-buy good after must-buy good. Which is great for our closets and sorta bad for our bank accounts.

J.Crew proved that baseball caps are anything but boyish with jewel-encrusted hats, 3.1 Phillip Lim introduced us to the dreamiest sweatshirt we’ve ever seen, and R29 faves like Zara and Topshop — well, let’s just say they made it impossible to leave the stores empty-handed. Yes, we’d warrant that 2013 was the year for retail. Wouldn’t you agree? So, we’re taking you through our fashion yearbook by highlighting the 10 best moments in the world of shopping this year.
