People come to you when they need help styling crop tops, body belts, and other oddball trends. You read WWD before you even check your e-mail in the morning. You actually know how to pronounce "Demeulemeester." You're basically a fashion guru — the only things you don't have are the industry contacts that can land you a choice job or internship. But, don't despair, because Diane von Furstenberg is offering individuals like you the chance at the ultimate fashion-industry hookup.

Yep, Diane von Furstenberg is the latest designer to throw her hat into the fashion-reality-TV ring. The DVF brand is currently looking to cast eight “smart, sophisticated, and savvy people with a great sense of style" in an unscripted show where they'll compete to become a DVF brand ambassador. Shooting in spring '14, the series promises its winner the chance to "travel the world, representing the DVF brand at cultural happenings, store openings, and fashion events, [and to] learn everything from design, marketing, and PR.” For eight bright, driven people, this will be a pretty amazing opportunity to get a leg up in a highly competitive industry — and build your own brand while you're at it.
If you're interested in adding the line "worked for the grande dame of American fashion (no big)" to your résumé, send your name, a brief bio, three recent photos of yourself with contact info, and why you want to become DVF's brand ambassador to DVFCastingTeam@gmail.com. You don't have to have a background in the industry — just tons of passion and a great sense of style. That totally sounds like you, right? So, get to it, all you hungry, young fashion things. It's not every day a capital-L legend comes calling.
