If you didn't grow up with April O'Neil, you're missing out. O'Neil was the pizza-eating, street-fighting television reporter and BFF lady friend of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who probably had one of the best outfits known to daytime cartoon history. Wearing white go-go boots, a mustard-yellow cargo jumpsuit, and a snappy waist belt, she pretty much ruled.
So, in a similarly hued Max Mara jacket, matching dress, and Tom Ford stilettos, Kim Kardashian makes for a compelling O'Neil, if O'Neil ever skipped hopping around sewers and fighting punks to attend The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Breakfast. With soft curls and a killer hourglass-figure-flattering dress, Kardashian kind of slays it.
And, though she changes her outfits a tad more than O'Neil, the coat is one of her favorites — and one she's been photographed in many times over. Doing a monochromatic look like this is pretty ambitious of her, and despite the fact that we've seen a few places knocking her chutzpah, we think this is very, very pretty. Radical, even. But, we'll leave the exclamations to O'Neil's close friend and confidant, Michelangelo: "Cowabunga," indeed!
