Condé Nast announced today that it will launch an e-commerce branch as early as the end of next year. And, the media empire is pulling out all the stops to make sure its digital retail platform is top notch. Fashionista reports that Franck Zayan, who currently oversees e-commerce for Galeries Lafayette, will head up the division as president along with a venerable list of international board members to oversee the project, including Charles Townsend, Robert Sauerberg, Jonathan Newhouse, and Nicholas Coleridge.
Newhouse explains that the site will "explore and develop ideas which can serve our readers, users, advertising clients, and business partners," but exact plans for the online platform have yet to determined.
