That was fast! Just days after leaving a Malibu rehab facility, on-the-mend actress Amanda Bynes has enrolled in fashion school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Orange County, California.
Sources say the former child star — who was mandatorily hospitalized following a pattern of outbursts and fears over her mental health — has registered for two fashion classes under an alias. Bynes will reportedly juggle her course load with four therapy sessions per week. She is also staying with her parents as she focuses on her recovery.
The Easy A star has expressed an interest in starting a fashion line in the past, and actually had her own short-lived "Deer by Amanda Bynes" label back in 2007. Hopefully, a renewed focus and a background in fashion design will help her get back on her feet. Fingers crossed, Amanda. We love a good comeback story, especially when fashion is involved. (TMZ)
