Sleigh Bells Does Nail Wraps, We Feel Like Rock Stars

Around here, we're all about girl power. So, it's no wonder that we're head over heels for Sleigh Bells front woman Alexis Krauss. Not only is she living out every rocker girl's dream, she's doing it while sporting the coolest-of-the-cool nail art, thanks to a seriously creative collaboration with manicurist/longtime pal Ria Lopez. (Feast your eyes on Lopez's Instagram to see the truly incredible works of art she's dreamed up for her clients in the past).

But, lucky for us, the duo's latest effort has taken on a life beyond the stage: Krauss and Lopez have teamed up with Rad Nails to create custom nail wraps inspired by the cover art on Sleigh Bells' newest album, Bitter Rivals.
Though you can score 'em online through Sleigh Bells' web store, the wraps will also be sold as merch at the band's forthcoming shows. "I think merchandise tends to be a very male-dominated world, and a lot of girls come to our shows. I wanted to do something for them that's different than a T-shirt or a tank," Krauss told NYLON of the why behind the decals.
Needless to say, though the skull emblazoned wraps aren't exactly "office appropriate," we'll be applying these babies next time we take the stage. Karaoke bars of the greater New York area, consider yourself warned.
Rad Nails x Sleigh Bells Custom Nail Wraps, $11.99, available via Sleigh Bells.
