We’ll forever be fans of Instagram’s simple, streamlined platform. And, we have to admit we kind of like the lack of messaging services on the app.
But, just like how the photo-sharing tool turned our worlds upside down with the release of video this summer, it’s rumored to be adding another rad addition by the end of the year: chat functionality!
According to Gigaom, a trusted source has indicated the new feature will give users a chance to (we’re assuming) image chat with one another on the go, providing a new internal layer to the service. Obviously, this will give the ever-popular Snapchat some stiff competition. But, we're also wondering if changing the core communication experience will heavily impact the ease of the app, which is what peeps love about it. What do you make of the rumor?
