healthygym-verticalIllustrated By Ammiel Mendoza.
We all know the health benefits that come from an awesome sweat sesh, but now that the holidays are here — along with candy, cookies, and carbs galore — you may find yourself spending a little more time at the gym. But, if you’re like us and obsessed with specialized studios that lead you through your workout step-by-step, then you might need a refresher course on some common gym etiquette.
Lucky for us, the good folks at Everyday Health have put together eight rules you should always follow at your local health club. Some things may seem like common sense, like remembering to wipe down machines and put away equipment after you use them. However, there are some acts you might not realize may be offensive to some. Sure, wearing deodorant is a no-brainer, but that gorgeous floral perfume you love may not be the preferred scent to the guy bench-pressing next to you. To ensure that you don’t become that girl at the gym (you know the one), click through to read a few more rules that will ensure everybody in your gym stays healthy and happy. (Everyday Health).
