With the Sochi Winter Olympics a few months out, quintessential American designer Ralph Lauren released a sneak peek at the Team U.S.A. uniforms today, which — drumroll, please — are actually being manufactured Stateside this year. After the backlash during the 2012 Summer Olympics, when it was revealed the U.S. Olympians wore outfits made in China, Ralph Lauren vowed to create the next set of uniforms in America.

And, keeping his word, the designer has delivered an opening- and closing-ceremony ensemble complete with a red-striped peacoat, a classic turtleneck ski sweater, and an American-flag tassel hat. Lauren reportedly used more than 40 vendors for the collection, which sheds some light on the challenges presented by creating clothes in America. Regardless, we're proud that Lauren's stepping up his efforts to produce some locally made goods. And, we have to admit, America sure looks good on Team U.S.A.
