Justin Timberlake adds another musical movie to his repertoire with the video for "TKO" — a Mr. & Mrs. Smith for city dwellers. Timberlake enlisted Ryan Reichenfeld to direct the epic tale and snagged Riley Keough, Elvis' granddaughter, as the boyfriend-shirt-wearing femme fatale.
Gosh, for two pretty people living in a minimalist bachelor loft, today's nouveau riche mansion, they sure aren't happy campers. Whatever JT's done, Keough is not having any of it, or vice-versa — the exact cause is as much a mystery as Timberlake's hair-grooming trick.
The seven minute clip is a montage of close-ups of said immaculately coiffed hair, the couple looking bored, and Keough dragging JT and his head-to-toe All Saints wardrobe behind a truck (don't worry, his hair remains perfectly intact). In fact, Timberlake is pretty indifferent the entire time he's tied to the back up a pickup truck driving down a desert road thing. Those jeans needed a good sandblasting anyway, and what better way than to haul them all up and over a dirt road? All in all, it's a real pretty video that combines the aesthetic of Timberlake's past hits like "Cry Me A River" and the entire vibe of Future Sex / Love Sounds. Where Justin goes from here is a mystery since he's, uh — well, Keough did — um — just watch and you'll see.
