Like it or not, photos of you inevitably make their way onto many a Facebook or Instagram feed. Whether it's a friend's birthday or an upcoming holiday party, the flashes will definitely be going off — so, you better bring your game face. To ensure that those impending snaps look amazing, Lauren Conrad has some great advice.
First, Conrad suggests keeping your chin up and your neck extended to ensure you're flattering your face. For a slimming effect, put your hand on your hip and pose at a 45-degree angle to the camera. Lastly, have the camera at eye level or above, and keep in mind that soft lighting is always better than harsh, overhead lighting. Et voilà — you'll never dread a photo op again! (Lauren Conrad)
