Zoë Kravitz has officially mastered the balance of pretty and edgy, thanks in no small part to her ridiculously wonderful braid crown. As opposed to all the halo braids we've been seeing, this creation features two separate plaits that begin on either side of a sleek middle part, continuing in opposite directions around her face and past her ears. It frames her face much more closely than a halo braid would — a great idea considering how gorgeous her face is. We're digging her messy brow, and the combination of warm browns and cool silvers in her smoky eye add the rebel-girl element that's necessary to keep a braid situation looking edgy rather than childish.
Also exciting: Kravitz's hair isn't super long, so this is a totally attainable 'do for everyone currently sporting a short bob. Just keep in mind, the shorter your hair, the more bobby pins you'll need.
