Leave it to Miley Cyrus to shock us with her red-carpet style once again. This time, though, it's not because she wore pasties and layered panties, but rather because she wore something that's actually elegant. Demure, even. Something our mothers won't be bringing up during Thanksgivingkuh dinner. Excuse us while we go lie down somewhere.
At last night's 30th Annual Night of Stars presented by The Fashion Group International, Cyrus presented the Superstar Award to Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy, president of Marc Jacobs International. In her biggest sartorial risk yet, she paid homage to the winners with a sequined Marc Jacobs gown from his fall '13 collection (see a similar style here). Sporting a simple halter neckline and plunging back and accessorized with just simple studs (she even left her tongue at home), Miley looked like she stepped out of an alternate reality where she hadn't accidentally turned left that one night in Ibiza and ended up partying at Pacha with her new BFF Molly. The lady cleans up well, that's for sure — but it's anyone's guess whether this this pivot will be for keeps.
