The Telegraph reports that the Duchess of Cambridge likes nothing more than popping to the discount outlet, Bicester Village, to score a bargain. Her favorite place to visit? Why, Reiss of course. A shop assistant at Bicester Village is reported to have said, "You look up and there'll be Kate and her same two friends going through the 60% off rack. You have no idea she's there and security must be outside, but she comes in all the time. And she's totally different to the Prince of Thailand, who I heard shut down a restaurant and brought his own staff when he visited Bicester." Now, that is what we call stealth sale shopping. Get in, hit the racks, and get out again. We also applaud the Duchess for hitting up the 60% rack, leaving the 25% off "discounts" for the amateurs.
But, tell us: Where do you like to go to score a thrifty find? This writer likes to start the day with a quick perusal through Yoox and the The Outnet. Hit us up with your suggestions in the comments section below. (The Telegraph)
