Ryan Gosling Has Nothing On This Guy

Sunday is a great day for self-discovery. And today, you are going to learn something very important about yourself: You're in love! Pop the champagne, call your mom, hire J.Lo to plan the big day, because girl, this is serious. His name is Tom Hiddleston, he's charming, he's British, and he is going to make you swoon.
Not convinced? Are you crazy? It's okay. Let us talk you through your new favorite obsession.
Reason #1: He's really, really ridiculously good-looking. James McAvoy meets Michael Fassbender, with a ginger twist. He's also the only human who can pull off this beard shape without looking totally insufferable:

Reason #2: Loki, of Asgard/Thor fame. The ultimate irresistibly sexy, weirdly-dressed bad boy with better hair than you. There are millions of Tumblrs dedicated to this, which as we all know is the ultimate test of whether or not someone is awesome.
Reason #3: He doesn't take himself too seriously. He's also hilarious, as this genius Josh Horowitz video proves:
Reason #4: He'll help you get over your debilitating cookie obsession.
Reason #5: He will woo you by reciting poetry softly in your ear. And if you're not into that, well, you will be.

Reason #6: Aside from being the main reason The Avengers is watch-able, he's also an excellent actor and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He'll be rounding out his theater resume in December, when he takes on the titular role in the Donmar Warehouse stage production of Coriolanus in London. In the meantime, please clear your calendar ASAP and make preparations to binge-watch him in The Hollow Crown.
Reason #7: His Owen Wilson impersonation is almost as good as Benedict Cumberbatch's Alan Rickman impersonation.
Reason #8: He committed to the Live Below The Line challenge to bring awareness to world hunger. Also, his little kitchen is heartbreakingly adorable.
He also wrote about his harrowing UNICEF trip to Guinea for Harper's Bazaar, where he said he learned "that we are all responsible for the state of our world, particularly for the most disadvantaged women and children in it, struggling to survive simply because they do not have enough to eat. All I can do now is help make people aware of what is happening, of what they are doing."

Reason #9: Pretty good taste in music, and he would definitely make you a lot of mixtapes. Not to mention the fact that every time he Tweets about a song, it becomes popular, because he is magical.
Reason #10: Tilda Swinton approves.
