With an Oscar nomination under her belt and style sites everywhere touting her as the newest red-carpet star to watch, Hailee Steinfeld is anything but your typical teenager. Thanks to the media storm around Steinfeld's new films, Romeo and Juliet and Ender's Game, we're continually caught envying a 16-year-old girl's wardrobe (no offense, Hailee).

This week alone, the style ingenue wowed us with a decidedly spunky outfit that's super-easy for us to replicate, too. Opting for a primarily black-and-white palette, Steinfeld chose to make one of our favorite pieces of the season her centerpiece — the fashion-forward sweatshirt. As one of young Hollywood's elite, this little lady's no stranger to design heavy weights, like Erdem and Thakoon, but she's also proved her red-carpet worthiness through her incorporation of quirky pieces that add attitude to an already charming persona.
