We're usually first in line to try out the most daring lip colors of the season. Emphasis on usually: It seems that model/blogger Nikia Phoenix, who you might remember from her dazzlingly pretty NYFW beauty look, has earned herself the title of Lipstick Badass. Not even we have tried out the color in her latest blog post.

Yes, black lipstick, usually reserved for suburban mall goths, is officially having a moment. We've seen it lurking in fall lipstick lines, but never before have we seen it worn so gorgeously. It's unclear if this color is actually wearable or if Phoenix just has the power to wear anything. Either way, we're officially convinced to try it out.
