Sure, we all know how much of a struggle apartment hunting in S.F. can be. Between the larger-than-life open-house lines, rip-your-hair-out competitive showings, and let’s be real, the unaffordable prices, there’s basically no way you’re coming out on top without tapping a roomie to split the costs (and stresses). And, that introduces another slew of challenges. Yep, living in S.F. has officially reached new levels of anxiety. Need further proof?
According to Curbed, this is evidenced by a bonkers graphic poster some woman named Lauren posted along with her Craigslist ad for a roomie. The ad, hipster font included, is splashed with testimonials by former roommates and a picture with someone that is missing a face, which obviously could be you if you act fast. Could this be the craziest CraigsList ad ever, or is it — sigh — a sign of the times here in the city? Weigh in below.
