The world of racing, in its modern iteration, has very little to do with fashion. Yet, before race cars were dominated by NASCAR, there was the European-tinged Formula One races, which felt more like Bond than Ricky Bobby.
In that vein comes Rush, the story of English driver James Hunt (played by Thor's Chris Hemsworth) and his rivalry with Austrian racer Niki Lauda, the latter suffering a near-fatal car crash during the Grand Prix. Taking place in 1976, the film focuses on the two jetset playboys, who aren't just wealthy and good-looking, but also have a serious addiction to adrenaline.
