When Kay Lee opened Otte in Williamsburg 15 years ago, she maybe didn't imagine it would turn into the e-commerce and multi-location New York brand it has become today. But with four boutiques and a highly successful website, New York has become synonymous with Otte. Now, Lee has partnered with Lynn Rosetti, former sales director at the Steven Alan showroom, to launch the new showroom #8 NEW YORK. The goal was to create an intimate space to showcase select, emerging designers. In addition to selling new designers' items, Lee and Rosetti also offer their mentorship, nurturing the creative minds with their extensive industry knowledge.
The new location is in an airy Chelsea loft, featuring new labels such as Alexia Scarves, Great by Sandie, Lionette by Noa Sade, Marie Turnor, Poupette, Sunday/Somewhere, and Oliveve, which is Rosetti's own line of Italian leather carryalls. The showroom officially opens later this month, but is currently taking appointments.
