Let's get real: Fashion Week beauty isn't always the blogging muse it's chalked up to be. Don't get us wrong, we love writing about it in all its strong-brow, dirty-hair glory — but when someone comes up with a completely new way to write about backstage beauty looks, it's a momentous occasion. Annie over at XOVain is that girl, and we're hereby in awe.
The inspiration? Various Fashion Week makeup. The medium? Her boyfriend's self-portrait tattoo. Get this: Annie demonstrated the stand-out runway beauty looks on said tattoo. It's not only hysterical; she actually did an eerily good job of recreating the makeup. They look pretty identical to the inspiration images she based them on, just, you know, on a hairy man's leg tat.
We're pretty sad to hear that her boyfriend is planning on covering this tattoo up, because we'd really love to see it wear some fall and holiday looks. (XOVain)
