Watch: How A #PassionProject Became A NYFW Staple

At the height of the economic crisis in 2009, Jenné Lombardo, Keith Baptista, and Mazdack Rassi founded MADE Fashion Week to give beleaguered, independent fashion designers a platform to show-off their work. Flash forward four years, and MFW is now an absolute staple on the Fashion Week scene. The founders believe that good things happen when young people collaborate and get a chance to create. "It's really important to support young designers because that's what makes our business exciting, new ideas and new points of view," says Baptista. Curious how they pulled it off? Well, you can stop wondering now.
American Express has featured the trio in their new #PassionProject initiative, a series of videos aiming to inspire consumers to go after their own dream projects. Watch the inspiring short about the MADE team below and see if it gets you thinking about what YOU really want to create.
