Kim Kardashian Goes Blonde, The Internet Explodes

Since the June 15 birth of little North West, Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West have been (mostly) in hiding. Presumably, they were simply reveling in the delight (and hard work!) of bringing home a new baby, but now it seems Kim K. has also been using the time to give herself a mini-makeover. The reality star emerged at a barbecue over the holiday weekend flaunting brand-new blonde locks, to shocking effect.

Looking back on it, she did hint at wanting to switch things up in the beauty department, posting throwback pics and reminiscing about her lighter locks from the days of yore. But, her newly-bleached 'do is far more dramatic than we imagined. Even though she's stepping away from her Armenian roots, we have to say we're downright pleased with her revamped look. After all, there's nothing wrong with donning a sun-kissed look, especially if it brings some spice into the tireless life of a brand new mom.
