Olivia Wilde, The Chicagoan?

Any successful thespian will tell you there's so much more that goes into an Oscar-worthy performance than memorizing lines alone. So, when actress Olivia Wilde came to Chicago to film Drinking Buddies, she didn't just research the Chicago way of life, she lived it. That's right, no five-star presidential suite for this gal. Wilde literally lived in a house in Wicker Park (veggie garden included), ditched the driver for a bike, and immersed herself in the craft-beer community to get into her role — we think our girl crush just turned into a full-blown infatuation.
But there was definitely more work than play while Wilde was in town. So, to get the ins and outs of her life in the Windy City, what it was like to ditch a script for improv (skinny-dip, anyone?), and four fun-facts that you may not know, our friends at Splash delivered a must-read interview that just may leave you even more wild about Wilde.
