Hey, anyone in the mood for a major Friday buzzkill? If you were feeling just way too jolly on this TGIF, the newest Homeland teaser trailer is sure to dampen your spirits. While the first teaser got us totally amped, the second literally blew our minds, and now the newest version is here to remind us that things in Homeland world are actually incredibly dire.
Our three major players are all falling apart at the seams — Brody is faced with a life on the run after the fallout from the CIA bombing, Saul is forced to pick up the pieces (literally) of what's left of the CIA, and Carey must choose between the two men who mean the most to her. The teaser comes off like an odd dream sequence, with the trio facing off against one another, all set to the anything-but-uplifting soundtrack of Adele's "Love Song" cover.
There's symbolism aplenty here, whether it's Brody's conspicuous hoodie, Carrie's interrogation room confinement, or simply the thought of the three of them alone in their own worlds. Watch below for yet another taste of Season 3, and don't blame us if you're way bummed out at happy hour. (Vulture)
