Lady Edith, Is That You?

Lady Edith might very well be our favorite Grantham daughter, and not just because we love an underdog. Despite her character's misplaced reputation as the plainer sister, Laura Carmichael has been consistently killing it in the looks department — and her most recent press appearance is no exception. With a delightfully vibrant orange-red lip and gently winged black eyeliner, Carmichael has officially inspired our own makeup for the next time we want to look drop-dead amazing.

Our favorite part of her makeup is how well-balanced it is. Those super-defined lips and eyes are softened by the prettiest pink blush and the kind of loose golden curls that most of us can only dream about. In short, Carmichael wins our envy for today, and has inspired us to wear our NARS Semi-Matte Lipstick in Heatwave for the rest of the week.
