Cheap Coffee & Free Yoga? Life Is Good

We recently told you about our affinity for the awesome new java shop Ready Coffee — and the buzz hasn't worn off yet. As if inexpensive (and delicious!) coffee wasn't good enough, starting this Saturday, August 17, the Wicker Park bean emporium will be offering free on-site yoga classes at 9 and 11 a.m. All you need to do is bring your mat, and Blair Rockoff of Rock Solid Health will balance your hardworking mind and body. And to exercise your appetite, there'll be Dinkle's doughnuts and a coffee chaser, naturally!

Oh, and in case you were wondering where you were going to roll out a mat in a coffee shop, Ready has an artsy space known as the ORNOT gallery. So, after you get up from that downward dog, be sure to check out the current exhibition featuring the works of Jamaican-American artist, Kenrick McFarlane. Wellness, culture, and cup of Joe — not a bad way to start the weekend if we say so ourselves.
Ready Coffee, 1562 North Milwaukee Avenue (between Damen and North avenues); 773-360-7041.
