You've probably heard of the "lipstick effect" — the theory that in an economic crisis, people are more willing to pony out cash for less-costly luxury goods, like an expensive lipstick, versus splash out on a pair of Manolo Blahniks. Well, we're always willing to figure out how to purchase a tube or two without breaking the bank. In fact, we've just discovered a way to get free lipstick. (And no, we haven't been in the sun for too long.)

recently launched its new party program that works similar to other home-based fêtes. Simply round up a group of your besties, invite them over to your pad, pop the champers, and start shopping. Remember, the more friends buy, the more you earn in brand credit, which comes out to 15% of the total earnings of your party. Now, that's what we call a fiscally responsible shopping experience.
MM currently offers 15 beautiful lipsticks and 15 glosses for twenty bucks a pop. We're obsessing over the fire-engine-red Marilyn shade — but, then again, that's a hue that never goes out of vogue. Plus, keep an eye out for a new product category launching in the beginning of September, which could very well be an excuse to book another party.
