Meet the latest member of Henry Holland’s crack team of fashion mavericks – Mr Quiffy. This humble ice cream van (bought from an ad on Gumtree) has been given a stylish makeover to become a mobile flagship store, transporting a 17-piece exclusive collection up and down the country. As befitting the designer who made his name in Day-Glo slogans and comic strip prints, the clothing and the van, are decked out in motifs that are seriously hard to miss. (Honestly, Pimp My Ride has nothing on this vehicle.)
What to see a piece of the action? The van will be kicking off its summer road trip this Friday in Covent Garden. If you can’t make it into the capital, the collection will also be available on the brand’s relaunched website. Handy that. (Henry Holland)
