It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that Talia Castellano, the 13-year-old beauty guru whose story we've been following for about a year, has passed away this morning. Talia had a truly special way of bringing the beauty out of every situation, literally and figuratively. Her diagnosis of neuroblastoma threw every challenge in her way, yet she continued to inspire her YouTube followers with her positivity, perseverance, and serious talent.
Today, we at R29 are sending our deepest condolences to Talia's family and loved ones, and will never forget the strength she's displayed throughout the short time that we've known her. We hope her legacy will live on, be it in her creative projects or simply in the example that she's set. Thank you, Talia, for teaching us all what true beauty is.
