This Crown Braid DIY Is Pretty Much All We Want To Wear This Summer

Fact: No matter how many times we play it out, the braided hairstyle will always be in popular demand. Why? Because regardless of how smug our resting faces might be, a romantic braided hairstyle softens up and adds a certain playfulness to anyone's look. Our latest plaited style obsession? The everlasting ethereal crown of braids, which we first fell for after watching Drew Barrymore in Ever After (c'mon, you know you love when she arrives Cinderella-remixed at the ball).
We understand the pitfalls of trying to achieve such an enchanting hairdo — it takes a certain amount of ambition. Namely, tired arms from too many attempts at braiding the back of our heads and enough bobby pins to put the librarian to shame. We were just about to throw in the towel and leave the magic to Drew and her fairy godmother, when we came across this easy tutorial from our friends at Popsugar Beauty. They teamed up with John Barrett Salon's Isabel Guillen to teach us how to achieve this woven updo, and the result is gorgeous.
