Apparently, the girls over at The Beauty Department are of the same mind, because they just realized this downright stunning take on ombré eyeliner.
We know it sounds weird and complicated, but hear us out on this one. When we stumbled across this photo, our first surprise was how beautiful — and wearable — the look was. The next surprise? Ombré eyeliner only takes three products and four super-quick steps to achieve. That means no matter what your level of liner skill is, you're only five minutes away from scoring this rad makeup look for yourself.

Simply select a light, medium, and dark shade of whichever color eyeliner you'd like to rock — turquoise was used here, but we can imagine that purple or green would also be fabulous. Draw a line across your upper lash line, starting with the lightest shade and ending with the darkest, and use an angled brush to blend the colors together in one clean sweep from the inner to the outer corner of your eye. That's literally it.
