From M.A.C bags to leather jackets, speaker clutches to party dresses, Rebecca Minkoff's expansive wares have taken over the staples' aisle. And now, add to that roster her latest line — a 14-piece collection of perfect T-shirts and comfortable denim — proving Minkoff's star power extends far beyond the fashion realm. Each pair of jeans sold triggers a donation of 20 meals to Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign. At $88 for shorts and $118 to $128 for boyfriend and printed jeans, the threads are affordable and shopper's-remorse proof.
Last night's launch dinner on the top of the Mondrian Soho proved just as effortlessly elegant and laid back as the designer and her new line. Partygoers like Jess Stam, Stacy Keibler, Zosia Mamet, Julie Henderson, and Eva Chen toasted the new Minkoff endeavor as the sun set and then, of course, took it to the photobooth for some post-dinner-and-drinks snaps.
