Julia Restoin Roitfeld Gets Real About Her Post-Baby Body

Julia Restoin Roitfeld wants you to know that being a mom is not always a walk in the park, especially when it comes to your post-pregnancy body. As she told Into The Gloss, this whole perfect-abs-six-weeks-after-baby is a load of B.S. Says Roitfeld: "It should take nine months to get your body back [after giving birth], just like it took nine months for your body to stretch." Helping her on that journey? Not a magic diet or marathon-length runs: the mother and founder of website Romy And The Bunnies swears by a simple method of barre classes and — get this — slimming shapewear.
Surprisingly, Roitfeld is open about her use of Pea In The Pod's postpartum belt, followed by Victoria's Secret shapewear, to "put everything back in place." These tools, plus a good blowout, are what has made the famous style star feel like her pre-baby self. For more on Roitfeld's beauty routine (such as the miracle serum that fades scars like a boss), head over to ITG to read the full dish. (Into The Gloss)
