It turns out that U.K. brand Charlotte Olympia has really had dreams of Hollywood all along. At least, that's what you can assume from its pre-fall '13 collection. It's turned to the golden days of Hollywood glamour as inspiration for its newest set of statement shoes and accessories.
With film strips as ankles straps and marquee signs as clutches, the collection is totally putting stars in our eyes with its somewhat-literal take on movie magic. And while the collection doesn't stray too far from the label's signature sky-high platforms and token whimsy handbags, it certainly does honor some of the greatest onscreen icons. Specifically, we're talking flats adorn with brooches of Rita Hayward and Bette Davis and shopper with prints of the iconic Hollywood sign.
Sure, the collection may be a bit cheeky for everyday wear. But if you ask us, a 35mm has never quite looked so lovely.
