With ingredients like roasted marshmallows and sea-salted caramel, you’d be hard pressed not to belly up to The Crème Brûlée Cart for an afternoon delight. But, after reaching for the little tinfoil pot of creamy decadence, you may turn your head left and right searching for a seat to enjoy the dish, and be dismayed to find none in sight. Well, not anymore: The Parisian dessert slinger is no longer just a humble cart, having debuted its first brick and mortar locale, popping up just this past weekend.
The quaint SoMa sweet-treat haven is decorated with a bevy of torchers on the wall and offers plenty of bar-stool seating. Sweetening the deal, now you can even create your own masterpiece by whipping together whatever ingredients will satisfy your exact cravings. So, are you just as fired up to visit the new space as us? We thought so — let's spoon!
