As much as we love zipping around on our two-wheeled contraptions, it’s a moving struggle to schlep all of our necessities around with ease — oh hi, wipeouts. And, yes, we do consider ourselves experts when choosing standout, hands-free carryalls, but Alite, the local, outdoor-gear pros, has made a bag that offers the best of both worlds: Their new “Bike To The Beach” bag is wonderful for well…biking to the beach and beyond. It straps to your back, making for an effortless (and safe!) ride; once you get to your destination, it easily slips off and turns into a simple tote — no bells and whistles, just A+ design. (There’s even a place to stash your blanket.)

What’s more, the canvas and leather bag is made right here in S.F. and the peeps at Alite have put together a heap of images that are making us want to rewind to yesterday and aimlessly cycle around. Go ahead and peep the pretty images and get ready to cave at the craftsmanship — and for only $135 a pop? Score! You need to act quickly though; these babies are sold in a small batch (typical S.F.!), with only 100 or so in production.
